Hey MR family so i picked up 2 blond naso tangs on wed they both were very dark almost black ( aka stressed out ) now i know they are hard fish to have but once they start to eat your good so on Friday one of them turned to he's normal color and one stayed black but both really don't eat so now both are swimming around both are normal colors but looks like one is blind. Why do i say he's blind you ask? well he goes from side to side and bumps into everything ( straight into glass rock fish etc ) so now my question is is this normal? Anything i can do? or any way i can confirm he is blind? any help would help big time :sad2:

Thanks

Jonathan

If you can put your hand in the water next to the fish. Try to wave your hand very slow if it does not move it my be blind , this does happen from time to time but from what i have been told anthias. The fish can live if it learns the tank it will smell food so turn off power heads off when you feed.

Don't put you hand in the water in front of the fish, as the fish is already stressed out enough and that will only stress it out more. Just leave the fish alone, as what you're seeing is a result of the fish being stressed out. Just give the fish sometime, it should settle in. If the fish is still stressed out you're better off in moving it to a QT by itself where it can settle in.
