question about mystery wrasse with mccoskers wrasse

can they be put together? will one bully the other? or will a melanurus be a better choice? any advice will be helpful. thanks

A mystery wrasse will very likely kick the crap out of a McCoskers. A melanuras should be fine.

I have a mystery and wanna add a flame wrasse pair or a rhomboid. I have a splendid leopard and the mystery wrasse. Would these be ok? Also wondering why u think the mystery would bother the mccoskers? This would be in a 225. Mystery and leopard are full grown.

Because Mystery wrasses are often ( not always) quite nasty to other wrasses-- particularly as they grow, and flasher wrasses are quite wimpy.

The Flames or Rhomboids would stand a better chance, but still could be victimized by the Mystery. I'd call it a moderate risk. The leopard should not present a problem.

I have a mystery and McCoskers and they coexist peacefully (along with an Exquisite and Cherry Head) but I have a 120 with lots of hiding places.

Right on everyone. I think my tank has plenty of space for everyone. The mystery seams pretty calm.
