I've had 'big blue' the Hippo tang for about 6 or so years in my 75g reef. Lately he's looking pretty beat up. He's got a pretty good case of HLE and recently he's showing signs of Ich or some other parasite. I don't have a QT set up at the moment and certainly not one big enough to house him.
He still eats like a pig, completely runs the tank and isn't showing signs of the stress, other than his battle wounds. However, I'd like to see him get better. If someone is willing and able to give him a good home where he can heal and get better, I'm open to giving him up. Though it pains me to do so.
I know there aren't many out there looking for fish with issues, but if you think you can help big blue, please send me a PM.

Bro hippos get ich like we get headaches. Throw 1or 2 cleaner shrimp in ur tank and he should be fine. His colors don't seem faded which is a good sign and as long as he eats and runs the tank he should be okay.
