Sleeping Scooter

For the last week I have wondered where my Scooter Blenny went at night. He would simply be there one minute and gone the next. I was spending some time watching my corals feed and as I panned the sand bed w a red flashlight I was suddenly surprised to see a pair of eyes staring back at me from the sandbed.
There was my scooter buried to his eyeballs in the sand! Is this common? At least now I know where he goes at night!

That is what a happy healthy scooter blenny does at night. Mine does it every night and its cool to watch him hover right over the sand and just sink into it with only his eyes exposed. He does it instantly. Make sure you have PODS for him to eat. I add them monthly...TISBE PODS. Good Luck
