Hi, i have a tank raised orchid dottyback who is finding it fun to go into my yasha gobies hole. There are a mated pair of yasha gobies and a candy striped pistol shrimp. Should i worry about this at all? So far my yasha seems fine (dont know about the pistol). I cant find any info about this particular situation. Please post experiences.

We'll dottybacks are carnivores. He may by pickin on pistol or yashas. When i first started my reef i had a diadema dottyback. I received my long awaited flame goby and pistol shrimp. The costed me like 150 for the pair. I drip acclimated them for about 2 hours just to make sure everything was perfect. As soon as i drop them in this Ahole dotty snatched the pistol. So i said being that ur a mean fish lets see how u do in my f/o turns out he was a snack for my grouper at the time.

Well my orchid dottyback is sleeping in the yasha goby hole, but i see the goby and shrimp in a different entrance... No marks on the fish and the orchid so far has not been nipping on my fish in the tank.... Ill give it a few days to get a better idea. I went with the tank raised orchid dotty because its suppose to be the least aggressive out of all dotties.
