I am currently running a 180 Gal FOWLR. with some of the calmer triggers in it (blue jaws and a Niger), a golden stripe, and a harlequin tusks. Biggest one is the golden stripe at about 6" and then the blue jaws at about 5".

Would it be an issue to put some calmer species like some tangs etc if they are big enough to hold their own? Or can someone recommend additional types/species you think would be suitable?

LOL, tangs and calm.LOL Tangs are not as docile as you think.;) I'd love Lionfish, and think all fowlr should have one, and the dogface puffer as well.;)

Yeah the lions are nice but with them just catching some hang time I'd rather just have a dedicated tank run for that... What types of angels do you think? Like Emperors and Annularis or something like that?

When I ran fowlr, I have always had volitan lionfish along with triggers, tangs, puffers.
My lions always thrived, and no one bothered them.;)
Besides, you have two of the nicer/sweeter triggers. Just don't add the Queen or Undulate triggers.;):tongue1:

Yeah well I forgot i got rays little *bleep* of a porcupine puffer that likes to cause trouble, and him tempting me ith an XL Queen they had in the store it wasnt helping on the decision... Can just test the waters and see what works, without it being a risk to the fish of course...

A nice colorful angelfish would be nice.;)

Yeah I've read about the queens being somewhat ok when smaller, but then turn "evil" as they get larger, and yeah I'd like to add a little more color to the tank. Was hooked on the idea for an undulated for quite some time but heard too much about their tendencies too...

I don't see why not. Are you sure that is the dwarf angel you want? BTW, I think dwarfs are going to get lost in your 180.;)
How about that new fishie you got last night?;)

I wouldn't go with a pygmy variety of angel with large triggers. I learned this the hard way when I had a trigger only tank a few years back. My Niger ripped into a flame I put in there as soon as it hit the water. An emperor would hold its own and definetly a passer angel would.
