i had two christmas wrasses for a while now ....just a couple of months ago one went missing....they never fought so i thought my be one jumped out of my tank ...never found him....now the other one has great color and is nice and fat..the only thing is he instead of swimming normally he is staying in one spot and pointing staight up and flapping his fins....i found that kind of odd...but when i put food in the tank he swims normally and them returns to the same spot in my tank and does the same thing ...anyone know whats going on...

A fish staying in one spot in a tank (unless it is guarding it's territory, which a Christmas Wrasse would not do), is usually not a good sign health-wise.

Is he doing this near the top of the tank?

Any changes noticed in his breathing?
