Replacement ph for skimmer?

Hi guys & gals, I got a BM 250 skimmer a while back for my 155 bow front mixed reef to replace my old ER 80.

I hear they are excellent skimmers, but I am having problems with the darn ph on it. When they are running they are excellent, but once they are turned off for what ever reason it becomes a pain in the _ _ _ to get them going again. So I need to replace them.

What would be good ph for the BM 250 skimmer please?

You're looking for a sicce psk-2500 pump with mesh wheel.
Although due to the mesh wheel, its not guaranteed to start back up all the time, even if it is brand new. Its about $100 from reefgeek

THEDLO, these pumps have been cleaned, and are still a pain.

Ming, I should have specified: I'm looking to replace them with something other then the original sicce, since I've read that they are a problem.lol

Hay Awi i had the same problem and changed the wheel to a Red Devil Needle Wheel and now dont have the start up problem any more and thay put out 40-45 SCFH
