So I recently added a Coralife 220 protein skimmer to my tank as a back up to my octopus skimmer (I would definitely recommend this skimmer as well), I would have to say that I'm very happy with this skimmer as it produces so much foam that I have replaced the rubber stopper on the cup with a rubber hose (which was included) and ran it to the 5 gallon bucket that my other skimmer is connected to. Its not really a skimmer i would place in the tank because the bulky pump is so unattractive, but as long as u keep your water level constant, it really is a great skimmer. I'm planning on getting their smallest model for a small frag tank I'm building.
