Hello everyone, I would like to ask a few question about an LED build i have in mind for my 210. So i plan on building 6 modules out of 5.9"X9" heat sinks that are drilled and tapped for 18 LEDs. I'm doing this so I can use 2 modules for every 24" so they light between the braces. My first question is, do i use thermal glue since the heat sinks have holes and i think i can just drill them in or do i need to use thermal glue/paste or grease? the type of LEDs I plan to use are CREE XR-E Q5 3W LEDs at 1:1 ratio with CREE XR-E Royal Blue 3W LEDs. Since each module has 9 of each color I'm thinking of using Meanwell LPC-20-700 driver which has an output of 30v @ 700mA with 21W of consumption. This driver isn't dimmable but i don't know of any other driver that can run 9 of these LEDs. Lastly i dont know what kind of optics i should use and if this is enough lighting for my tank, its 29" deep. Can someone give me some suggestions before I waste a lot of money figuring things out myself. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Fortunato
