hey guys. i have this power head which seems to be overheating my ten gallon nano currently cycling. the power head is 160 gph for a 20 to 40 gallon. i took the air piupe out because someone told me to. i decided to add the air pump to see if it changes my temp. do u think the air bubbles that blow out of the powerhead can hurt my tank? i heard bubbles are not good in a saltwater tank...adding that air pipe can help decrease the temo rite?

get a koralina nano ph, pumps will add heat more so on alot of the cheaper ph's, a fan will help in keeping tank temps dow, will cause more evaporation { cause's cooling }

Adding air into and around the tank will help stablize the ph. Using a fan or ac unit around the tank will cool it off. Adding air through your powerhead that is heating up your tank will do nothing but help release co2. Bubbles will not harm your tank, especially if your just cycling your tank and nothing is in it. Bubbles in a reef tank not GOOD!! Research my friend.... with that you'll do fine.
