Does anyone use moonlights?

Just curious if you guys use any.

1. What kind of moonlinghts

2. do you keep them on most of the night or all night?

I have mine on for 2 hours before the actinics turn on and 2 hours after the actinics turn off, I feel it helps the fish get ready for bed :inlove: not to mention I love the look !

I find a lot of my coral wont open to feed unless it is completely dark so I do not run them all night.

yes, i have a soft white, and blue, im planing on setting it up to start with both on, and at about 1 having the blu turn off cause its the brighter of the 2, and hving it com back on at like 5 or 6.

i have blue lunar leds that is built in... it's a marineland led lighting system

Bought a DIY kit off ebay for $24. Six 1 watt blue leds. I leave them on 24/7.

There are blue ones built into my aqualight pro. They are set to come on when the actinics go off at night and then they go off in the morning when the actinics come on.

i have 2- 1 watt leds built into my led lights.. it stays on all night.i actually covered one of the leds since i felt it was too bright in tank. now with the 1 led-it gives off a nice glow. plus its nice to be able to view tank at night

I've always used moon lights. I like the way they make the colors pop a little for night viewing. I used to use the coralife moon lights, now I DIY all my lights.
