ecoxotic Stunner LED Strips?????

So anyone got them? Im thinking about using them with my 250w mh. I dont have any antinics so I want to use these. I plan on having a mixed reef sps, lps and a couple mushrooms. what do you think?

I'm buying 12 pieces of them to use it for my frag tank 36" long hope it's enough

I have one strip in my cadlights 12G as a nightlight. Makes the neon colors pop. Other things like xenia or dendro receive little to no effect when on by itself. More than welcome to come check it out but needs to be before sat. as my tank is sold.

I use stunners to accent my 125(6' long) gallon with 3 175 watt MH. I use 3 of them daisy chained together. They do add a slight blue, but with 250 watt halides you will not even notice them. You may be better off with a blue Panorama strip instead.

I have two strips for primary light on my 9 gallon. It's only been a few weeks but there seems to be no issues.

They now make the reflectors for them, helps them cut through water better

The I have is the aquatrader light. It comes with a 250mh and 2 65w pc light. I baught it a year or so ago for my mixed 29gallon. The MH worked nicely, I got good growth from my sps and lps corals. When I turned on the PC lights you couldnt tell they were on when the MH was on.

I wanted to removed the PC lights and put in the leds. From you guys said I have been thinking of getting a better quality 175 watt Mh light and ballast and 4 of those led strips.

Would that be a better combination?

To spend again to downgrade to 175 watts is crazy. Just get a 250 watt Pheonix 14K bulb and you will get the desired blue effect that you want and you could can the PCs and use stunner strips for Dawn/Dusk.

Or if the cash is burning a hole in your pocket, go all LED.
