Vortech Battery Backup recall

Just an FYI for any battery backup owners, Ecotech Marine has issued a recall on the battery backup cables. I spoke with a customer service rep and he explained that the original cables can send a surge of power to the unit which could potentially cause a fire. I was instructed to unplug my unit until the new cables arrive. The link to the recall is below.
