Is this normal for a chiller?

I bought a used chiller from an MR member and I'm using it on an RKE. I noticed recently that sometimes when the chiller comes on it gives a flash of white light. Is this normal, or cause for concern?

It's a TradeWind 1/4HP Drop-In Chiller

im assuming the white flash is a spark.. maybe the capasitor for the compressor start up has failed

I dunno, but it still lowers the temp. I'm going to try to get it serviced as soon as possible.

Ok no need to get your panties in a roar, thats the capistor sparking no big deal. Get the model number and go to any a/c supply co and they have them. The wires plug into the top

Well sadly that's what happen when people don't do there own research .I really wanted to tell him/she to ask the person he/she got it from or call the manufacturer .If it was a real emergency it probably would have been too late by now.
