Help me find a good skimmer!

Hello, I'm new to this forum. I started a FOWLR tank about 2 months ago with a 55g and now I upgraded to 125g. I need a good (not expensive) needle wheel (i think they work best) skimmer. There are a lot of brands and i'm confused. Now I have a Seaclone 150. So, please, tell me what brand is good. Right now, i'm looking at Kent Nautilus and Reef Octopus. Please educate me....

I thinks asm makes a good skimmer the g3 is rated at 250 gallons and its about 330 bucks . JMHO. good luck

< has owned almost 20 skimmers in last 5 yr's and sorry nothing personal to the asm owner's but that skimmer isnt even close to the vertex, and i have owned 3 or 4 asm's, 5 euroreefs, 3 etts, 3 octo's and so on, asm's are built cheaply, the seals always end up leaking, do you plan to stock heavily ? or ever move into doing corals

premium aquatics has them as well as most other web stores, the thing that impressed me the most was the build, they are built like tanks. killer skimmers and great price

I think i'm going to be stocking the the tank pretty heavily... I got a 30g tank... i'll make it a reef tank later on... i'm thinking of using the Seaclone 150 on the 30g and get a new one for 125g.

Don't waste a penny on the seaclown 150. It truly is a big waste of money.

well, i kind da got that as a package deal witht he tank, refugium and light... i know its a crap. I changed the pump couple of days back and it is collecting some foam. it will be holding down the tank until i get the new one...
