I'm sure that varies depending on bulb. Which bulb is considered the most intense while still giving accurate color rendition for 10 K and 20 K?

S seaguru Reefer Rating - 0% 0 0 0 Oct 28, 2004 #2 I have the Aqua Media Ocean Light 150w hqi... there have been many articles and posts regarding this and they are all positive... some say the bulb put out as much as 250w mogul and others say 175w... either way they are the best bang for the buck I think. I love mine tho I have never owned higher wattage bulbs to give you an experienced opinion. just m2c.
