Nice article Richard! Wow, so much for adding 50-70% in light output when using a quality reflector since the number is more like 200-300%! Are you going to continue to test many different luminaires with different wattages? I personally run some of the 150w AB bulbs and love them, although the limited spread has to be kept in mind...but they serve a purpose. Also, thanks for the Reeftec article- excellent product.

I'm glad you found the article useful.

I'll be doing some additional work and I believe Sanjay is working on an article. The challenge is determining what to test. There are four or five luminaire geometries, a couple of bulbs in each wattage, and several ballasts to consider. That adds up to a lot of possibilities.
