Is anyone using the dc drive waveline return pumps ,i was checking out the 1000 or 1200 they look pretty powerfull and energy efficent

I am running a Waveline DC6000 and have had no issues. It runs quiet and never warm. I did purchase two, so i would have a backup. Due to the fact this is new technology.

I run a DC6000 on my skimmer and it stopped working in less than a year but they did replace it for free.

yep. mines have some orange stain on the pump head and a very very light coat of rust.

my pump also have some sort of high pitch humming noise.

its good pump. but not great

I run the DC1200 with about 290 gal volume of water. 220 on top and 70 in the sump. Plus it runs a 5 valve manifold which includes a 1/3 hp chiller with 3/4 tubing. Quiet as can be
