Skimmer upgrade options. Cant decide!

I am going to upgrade the skimmer on my 36 bowfront. Right now I have a coralife 65, which was fine while setting up (& the fact it was bought for me) but my needs have grown.

The tank has 1 clownfish, 1 watchman goby, 1 royal gramma. It has sps & some lps (torch, hammer, bubble). There is no sump so was looking at the following HOB:

AquaMaxx
Bubble Magnus NAC5E
Reef Octopus BH1000
Eshopps PSK-100H

I know these are all rated for much bigger but with the amount of coral in this tank I thought it would be fine. I am looking to stay aroung the $200 mark since I just spent alot setting up a 125 gal.

Please give me your opinions as to which one would be best. Looking for quite & effectiveness. I have read reviews online but alway got good info from people on here.

I used to have the Reef Octopus bh100 HOB on my 55. It was an awesome Skimmer. Really quiet, I just didn't like having any equipment besides powerheads in the tank so I got a sump and stuck with Reef Octopus...

I love the Eshopps PSK HOB skimmers. They are easy to use and set up, work really well and come with Sicce pumps. They have good customer service too!
Having said that, they are all good skimmers and you wont be sorry with any of them.

I agree with equipment in tank. Thats why I was leaning to the bubble magnus. Ut has its pump outside.

See my for sale thread, I have a SWC HOB large for sale, much better than any of these. I had it on a 45 gallon and 65 gallon and it pulled out crazy amounts of skim.

I think the Reef Octopus BH-1000 has the pump outside of the tank. Great skimmer.

I would not buy another bubble magus product I don't know about there skimmer case am using sro for the past 4 years but I do own the bubble magus doser there is no such thing as customer service as a mater of fact I got my doser fix and I've yet to get a response/email etc from them and for that I will never buy another product from them I'll take my socks some were else
