I just got home from work and found my tank 72 degrees from the usual 79.

Does anyone have a heater I can borrow?! OR BUY?

Has anyone heard of a jbj titanium heater. Crapping out after only 2 years? I have it on my rkl. Not the controller it came with.

I'm on my phone. Can't see rb. It's a 110 tall with 40 gallon sump.
Just sent a PM. Can you see those on your phone?

That was is a new 75W.
If you are really desperate, I can pull the 150W Ebo out of my mixing bucket, but you'd have to pick either up

I know its a little late for this advise and its not directed at you ,but buying a 25 dollar heater as a spare is a must in this hobby. Even if it sits in a box for 3 years its still something you will never have to worry about. Your tank should be fine,72 is not that bad. GL

Thanks it is a good tip. I just don't know how quickly it went from 79 to 72. My purple nana is 1/3 white. There maybe some die off there.

I had a spare 200w but I just set up a frag tank and put it on there and never bought another spare.

Lesson is: don't have one big heater. Better to have two smaller heaters on a rkl or similar so if one breaks you have the other to hold the temp. And the rkl will cut power of the built in temp regulator breaks.
