Im ordering some pieces to plumb my new tank i found a site where they sell schedule 80 PVC and schedule 80 CPVC(this costs more)......i need just the schedual 80 PVC correct?

You dont need schedule 80 pvc but schedule 80 bulk heads are much better, and recommend.

i have the bulkheads im just talking about the general PVC piping and fittings like 90s, unions ect but thank you!

Use the PVC not the CPVC.
Most folks use Schedule 40 rather than the schedule 80 (which is thicker). So if that's a choice you can use the 40.

Not that it may matter to you but the inside diameter of schedule 80 is smaller and is mostley used for pressure. Not needed but you can use.

Dont use schedule 80 no need for it. Stick with sch 40 and most tanks are drilled for sch 40 bulkheads. Sch 80 bulkheads are bigger...

The only differance between s40/and s80. is the thickness of the walls.
s40 is common, you don't need to spend your money on s80.
s80 is a pressure rated pipe, and we don't even get to the rating of a s40.
Unless you like the look of the gray, save your money, and put it towards something
else.

ya i liked the color of the 80 until i saw the price of it! im going to stick with the "cheap" white 40 thank you everyone!
