Looking for PVC parts

Does anyone know where I can get 1/4" and 3/4" unions as well as pvc ball valves in Manhattan? I've been having a hard time finding them. I've been to truevalue and ace, home depot also never seems to carry them and I've heard terrible things about their pvc ball valves.

So where do you guys get your plumbing supplies?

I ordered my supplies from savko. Also look into gate valves instead of ball valves but I don't know if they come that small.

The Home Depot's in Manhattan tend to not have PVC plumbing bits out on the shelves because of a lack of space and PVC isn't really allowed in NYC plumbing. However, if you use the Home Depot website to "order online for pickup at a store near you" that will likely work. I"ve done it several times. Usually have to go to the 23rd street HD and pick up there, but yeah, that's how i've been doing it when I'm in a hurry.

+1 to Savko though. They have good stuff at good prices and ship fast. Their only disadvantage is the website is a bit...yeah, you'll see. heh
