Hello guys, new to saltwater, I have a 90g rr drilled with 30g sump and ordered a mag 9.5 for my return but need help with the return line, problem is my tank has both outlet and return holes right next to each other behind the internal overflow, mag 9.5 has 3/4" outlet but the return on bottom of tank is 2" male end what tubing should I use vynil or pvc and if vynil how can I go from 3/4" from pump to the 2" on the return for tank.

Thanx

Actually my mistake the return is 1" 1/2 so I would have to go from 3/4 to 1" 1/2 I got the tank used a few days ago as isI

If the hole is only 1,1/2" you don't gonna feet 1" bulkhead there...
For 1" bulkhead you'll need 1,5/8"-1,3/4" hole, check one more time if you can just to make sure.
By the way if you have sump the line from pump to your tank is supply/feed line the other where water is going down to your sump is drain/return line :)
Don't get me wrong I'm a plumber and see many people here making this mistake ;)
If you can install reducing coupling 1"x3/4" or bushing directly to your pump and run your supply line 1" size, that's gonna be smoother for pump to delivery water to your tank.
For return you can also use 1" line it should be enough.
I have both lines 1" and pump red dragon 4.5 I believe on 5' high this pump still should have about 1000gph and never had any issues, even on the end of the drain line I have installed ball valve which is closed a little bit to reduce air bubbles in my sump...
