Mag 9.5(950 GPH) Vs. Eheim 1262(900GPH)

Just wondering from an experienced reefer which pump is better and why. I have heard that mags run hot but I have never noticed mine.
The price difference for this pump is almost $100 dollars.
I have been running the mag 9.5 for about a year with no issues I clean it around every three months.
Should I switch to Eheim 1262?

Eheim , i got the 1260 for my new build , i cant wait to fire it up in replacement of my mag-5 , and the warranty is 3years on the eheim, not sure about mag

If I didn't already have a pump, I would buy an Eheim due to their reputation, but I don't think Mag Drives are a bad/unreliable pump. I have run them for years in various tanks.

If you Mag is working fine, why change it?

I also cannot say that Mags run hot. They are internal pumps (so how much noise are they making anyway?) and those run cooler than external pumps which I have also used, and external pumps definitely raise the temp in a tank by about 2 degrees.

Thanks for all the responses, I really appreciate it.
I run the mag internal and have to say I dont think its loud or gets hot it is always cool to the touch and my temperature is always between 78.5.
Forgot to mention that i got the eheim in a packaged deal and dont have to buy it for $185 dollars.
Bought my Mag 9.5 for $105

Another point about the Mags The 4 metal screws have a tendency to rust!!
Many Mag owners have rush out to purchase plastic screws. Rust a big no-no
in ur tanks.

i have both the mag 9.5 on my skimmer and the ehiem as my return,i will be switching the mag before summer hits.
ALSO THE MAG IS USING 93 WATTS AND THE EHIEM IS ONLY 80 WATTS

I used to have a mag but I switched to a 1262. I think the eheim runs a bit cooler, but its just as noisy as the mag. The tank is outside of the bedroom and I can hear and feel the hum in my pillow at night.
