Skimmer Recommedation

120 gal tank, 30 gal. sump, skimmer section 12.5x11.5, baffled at 9 inches.
i tried a NAC7 BM and the pump was way to loud. i'm thinking maybe a seaside aquatics cs-2, what do you recommend, budget is up to $750.00, SKIMMER HAS TO BE QUIET.

I just got a Seaside Aquatics CS-2. I have been running it almost a week. So far I like it alot.

I had planned on getting an ATB 840v2, but got hit with a huge unexpected bill the day before I planned on getting it.

Both skimmers use the Sicce PSK-1000 pump, which is super quiet and reliable. The Seaside is definitely a great choice at half the price of the ATB. The ATB is built a bit better.

The bk mini should be plenty quiet but it's expensive and getting a replacement pump will be very difficult.

I've heard good things of the sea aside aquatics skimmer as well. Really you want a quiet pump. The red dragon, sicce 1000, or a Tunze hydrofoamer will be great.
