Need advise on skimmer pumps

wanted to change my skimmer pump to either the bubble blaster or the red dragon.what would you recommend.also what size pump will be best for my vertex in180

From what I hear the red dragons are very good and use very little electricity. I have never used either so I can't speak from personal experience.

You get what you pay for, those red dragons are pricey but there silent, use very little electric and are super reliable.

ok but i still dont know what size i should use...i have the vertex in180.i would like toi know for both pumps

from what I read most are going with the BB2000 or 3000 for the in180..I think mainly because of the price difference between the RD pumps and the BBs...

Bubble blasters are great pumps , my brother has one on his 200 gal oceanic and it runs a few other things flawlessly !!

LOL...thats why they are going with the BBs or even the Sedras...I got the 1500 on mine, but I will being getting the BB5000.
