Will the rkl net module Work with apple

Does anyone know if the net module will work with an apple express router ?

I don't see why not. Both speak TCP/IP...

Will the Airport Express be used as your primary router or to extend an existing network?

I only have the apple express. The net module would have to be plugged in to the router correct ? I don't have a pc to set this up so I borrow one from a friend to do software updates.

My apologies, brain farted. Your ISP provider's modem will be plugged into the Ethernet Port of the Airport Express, leaving none for the Net module. Totally forgot that the Express is pure wireless connectivity. You would need the Airport Extreme that comes with 3 LAN ports, which 1 can be used by the Net module.

Yeah I was thinking about that. There's no type of splitter that I can use right. ? Really don't wanna get another router.

Unfortunately, no. That's one of the limitations of the Express vs. Extreme models. Any splitters/hubs/switches must come after the router (Airport Express).

I just remembered I do have a old net gear router. I hated it so that's why I used the apple. Can I use that but still use my apple for my internet.

I'm going to assume the Netgear has a builtin 4 port switch? The Netgear will need to be before the Airport since the Netgear has the splitting capability.

It'll be like this:

ISP Modem ---> Netgear ---> Airport Express.

Yes the net gear has the 4 ports. So I guess I'm going to order it and see if I can get it to work. Thanks for quick responses I appreciate that.

Not a problem. Apple Airport Extreme would be the 1 product solution, however that's a $100+ solution
