Aqua Illumination Sol question

I am looking to get out of my t5/mh fixture and go with the AI Sol ..Does anyone know how many units are needed for a 90 Gallon reef ?Thanks

i have 2 units on my 90 they work great i mounted them parallel with the tank used there hanging kit and mounted a center brace to hold lights

Duke,I never sold anything .Kinda glad I didn't I have alot of money in the equipment so maybe the new light will alleviate my electric bill .I don't run a chiller ,so in the summer my a.c. is on all day plus the lights, its way too much ....

I have a 90 and AI told me I needed 4 units that's alot of $. But I heard of people going with just 2.

You can get away with two the same way Garys reef did it. If you want even more spread you can change out the optics.

Yo my brother has 2 modules on a 200 gal and it does just fine with a hight of near 14inches i have 1 unit on my 54 gal and i cant bring it up more than 40

sal seems like alot of people on here are selling there aqua illumination for some reason.seriously look into acan.they have amazing customer service and the light is incredible.and you get a 2 year warranty and they are local ..i have them and i really like the whole package.

Thanks James ,I will look into them as well ..Does that light have all the features of the AI light ?Lightning storms,lunar cycles etc etc...?
