Hello all, I am Looking for a little input I had my Marineland 150 DD cube up for a while but because of inadequate flow issues I decided to take it down to restart over. I am now interested in drilling it to run a close loop but wanted to know where should I drill it at? I am kind of iffy about really drilling holes in the tank but adding more powerheads in a small cube doesn?t look so great to me. I know for a fact I would like to drill the bottom within the overflow creating 3 inch holes in the area of the overflow box, which will give me one drain and two return pipes and one overflow ( Just like the photo on the bottom). I am looking for a nice clean looking tank any imput is appreciated

No powerheads? Wouldn't that be the simplest and most flexible solution?

I bet an MP40 Vortech would be a great addition to that tank.

Well that what I was using anyway I had 3 running in the tank but be cause of aquascaping it didn't work out so great. I ordered drill bits just waiting to see if I can drill the bottom

Ritchie, did you look at the glass-holes.com videos on drilling? They give you some good pointers. I just drilled 2 holes a few days ago and it wasn't hard at all.
