I know this is a bit off topic for this forum, but I stumbled on it doing google searches, and I hope somebody with acrylics experience may be kind enough to help.
I have a 1998 corvette that has an acrylic glass top. I believe it's coated with a hardener. The corners of the top have broke, and I need to weld small jagged pieces of the acrylic glass back onto the main unit. I would love to simply bring the top to a professional, but I have no clue who would do that type of repair. I called a couple of glass shops and they couldn't help.
I'm thinking the IPS weld-on 3,4, or 40 is the right stuff, if this will work at all. Any thoughts on DIY alternatives or professional repair? Thanks. Bill
