Yellowbarbel Goatfish (Parupeneus chrysonemus)

$25 for MR Donors and $30 for everyone else.

3470528407_b48fab6976_o.jpg

General Information:

Common Name: Yellowbarbel Goatfish
Scientific Name: Parupeneus chrysonemus
Max Size: 8 ”
Reef Safe: No
Collection Location: Hawaii
Care Level: Easy
Tank Conditions: 72-78?F; sg 1.020-1.025; pH 8.1-8.4
Minimum Tank Capacity: 120G
Compatibility: Will eat shrimp and maybe small fish.
Diet: Carnivore

Detailed Information:

The goatfish has been treated with praziquantel and hyposalinity. It eats pretty much any pellets or shrimp I put in the tank. It is in a community tank and has been great with the other fish. However, shrimp and really small fish will be eaten. Goatfish are considered cleaners to me as they will "sniff" out and eat any food that may have fallen into crevices or dead spots. This fish is roughly 5" long.

This fish is guaranteed for 7 days starting from the minute it is picked up. To receive a refund or a replacement fish you must provide the deceased fish frozen in tank water and a separate sample of your display tank water.

Paypal is accepted. I'll respond to your PM with the address if requested. Paypal fee will be added to the cost.

Wow, I really like how you guys post all the information relating to a fish. KUDOS to you. I wish more vendors would do that, so I don't have to run in circles to try to find information about a particular fish.

Thanks guys!

Yes Ted all of these fish were housed in my house :lol2: After you and HOV were over all of my corals were removed from the 120 and I set up a couple of smaller tanks. Now I will have to break everything down for when I move next month :tired: It is alot of work but well worth it.
