Confusing Corals

I bought what I thought was a Devil's Hand from a MR member a while ago. When I picked it up it looked one. After having it under my MH lighting it looks more like a Sinularia/Thin Finger Leather Coral and it's fragging like crazy. Is there anyway to know for sure? Either way, I love it. My Bicolor Blenny and Yellow Clown Goby love hanging out in it, sometimes together.

Has anyone else experienced this weird transformation?

these 2 corals look very diff from each other. 1 pic of decent quality would do it.
