My Dendros Died!! = (

My five headed colony of dendros that I got from cherry corals that was doing unbelievably died overnight. They grew from 2 heads since the fall frag swap. I fed each head daily. The only change that I had done, was disconnect the main tank from the sump for a few hours. I had to silicone seal the overflow box, and I figured it would be harmless to leave a tank with 125 lbs of LR and 3 3" fish running on 3 Koralia 3s for about 24 hours. The next day it looked like it had spots of flesh on it and I could clearly see skeleton. All the other corals are doing fine. The tank is now hooked up to the sump again. Im sad

ammonia spike from what. Nothing died before the dendros did.

Seems coincidental and unrelated, especially since everything else is fine. Sometimes it is just like that

sounds like a critter might have picked at it

i have a giant mythrax crab that sometimes turns over corals. is there anyway hes guilty?
