red mushrooms

I have a 28 gallon nano cube with metal halide lighting. I was wondering where the best place is to place my red mushrooms. They are near the top of the tank but don't seem to opening up very much. Should I move them lower or give them more time where they are?

I would move them lower. They dont require a ton of light.

same here got mine all over the bottom and mid level, the red shrooms seem to spread faster than others.

I have same exact tank. I got a frag of mushrooms from Questionmarc and placed them low and in the corner on the rocks. They are growing like mad.

I have mine about midway down into mine tank(8inches from the surface) and they're directly under a 250 halide.

They can go just about anywhere, you just need to acclimate them to whatever spot you choose

Start low and slowly move them up.
