do Star polyps need to bin full flow I just got some they looked great in lfs still have not opened it been 2 days is this the norm it takes a little time to get them aclameted to the tank what can I do to get them to pop open also am i correct the side that has bumps is the side up?

def normal, but also check your water parameters could be a sign of poor water quality, or lighting ... star polyps are nice and pretty hardy, mine for example have grown 4x size in 6mos and open 5 min prior to the lights even turning on ... they in sync with my lighting schedule already and in routine .... :birthday:

Yeah, you probably just need a bit more time. Your water muct be much different than your LFS'. I actually can't stand mine. It grows like a weed after it adjusts, especially if you feed your tank with filter-feeder foods.
