They are growing out of control all over my tank. I am planning to upgrade in the near future so I will have the opportunity to take all of my rocks out of my tank. Is there anything that will pull them off of rocks? Dental floss? Tweezers?

I would love to have some. I used to have a lot and then something changed in my tank and they slowly dissappeared.

If you just cut them off with a razor you have a good chance of having the piece that is left regrowing into a full mushroom. So it is best to take some rock with it.

It's really strange. When people want to frag these things they have a hard time and the things die. But when you have too many no matter what you do you create more.
