SPS polyps changing color

I would like to know why one of my acros's new polyps have a different color that the original ones. The colony has metallic green polyps but the ones from the new growth are blue in color. Why?

i really dont no.... but i have the same thing.. ive heard somewhere it has something to do with nutrients in the tank dont no if its exactly true...

Thank you T. I will try to take a picture of it but I don't have any macro lenses so it's all blurry.

also different areas where the lights hit will def. make the polyp look a diff. color
