Hey All,

I switched my lighting on my 24G Aquapod yesterday from power compact to metal halide. All day, my corals were doing fine, but tonight my yellow leather toadstool closed up & turned from yellow to white on the edges & green in the inside. Is it getting bleached from the light? What do i do about it?

probably bleaching, you should get some window screen mesh's add a couple on top of the tank in between the light and then over the next couple of days take em off 1 by 1.

Anytime you make a change in your lighting you kind of need to ease your corals into it. If you can raise the lights or put some screening under them to help diffuse the lights it would help. At the least cut back on the number of hours the lights are on.

You will need to do this whenever you change your bulbs too.
