The 1st coral shouldn't be closed for 4 days straight. It looks like it's dying. I'd suspect your lighting or water parameters, both of which you failed to provide.

Insufficient light would not kill that coral in such a short time. I believe you already got the 6 bulb T5 over your 75G which I think is plenty of light for your frogspawn or hammer. The water pars should be the first place to check, then check the flow(I cannot remember what you have there)

The chance of reviving your coral in the first pic is grimmed unless you find the problem quick.

I had a torch also. First few days it was doing well, then it started closing up on me until it died. I've had different opinions on torches, but it seems that they tend to be difficult to keep, but at the same time some people have had great success with them, so who knows. Did you add fresh water in an area close to the torch? Or have you added anything around the area of the torch, such as additivies or anything like that? I know mine was really sensitive, anything that you added that was close to the torch, it would make it go crazy, close real quick.
Also, does or did it have a lot of flow? If there's a lot of flow, that can cause them to close up. Other than that, not sure what else it could be.

I moved the coral a total of 4 times I had it like I mentioned for two days and it was fukky extended and doing great all of the sudden I got whatyou see I did nothing different no additives just got up one day and saw that.

I did not plan on keeping corals Figured just a few softies thatwere supposed to be easy to handel Hence I bought the nova extremt5 light 6 bulb.

Thank you for th einput I think I will bring them back to the store and see if he canhelp

You could try feeding it or prepare it a lugol's solution dip, sometimes corals can catch infections. Just a thought.

Put it as low in the tank as you can and try to shade it if possible. How did you acclimate it?

:tongue1: it's provide the torch might have been in to strong of flow, and some people { me } just cannot keep certain corals, dont know why, and you dont need much light for the torch.

deanos did a coral ever die on you? your making this man feel like he failed.he did not fail he is learning just like you had to when you first started in this hobbie:smash:

:lol2: Are you kidding?!? I've had tons of corals die on me :( Ask "DevIouS"

But on your other note, "Reading Is Fundamental", because I said he "failed" to provide information on his lighting and water parameters :tired: :fishhit:
