Zoa Morphing?

A few weeks back I woke up to find a nice little surprise in a colony I have. Look at the polyp in the center that is partially closed w/ a dif colored center. Since then it has stayed this way, while maintaining a green mouth. Does this type of morphing happen often, and any idea of what would have caused it to happen?

as the open and grow in more the color will more than likely change to what some of the larger polyps look like, had the same zoa's

As of right now it is as large as the others and still cored this way. Anyone know of a name for this type of zoo?

It has the same color skirt of the other ones. IMO it's a different morph.

I've had something like this happen. I have some Green Zoas with orange mouths and recently a few buds that are orange with green mouths developed. Not sure what prompts it, but it sure is cool.
