Ironically, of all of the corals in my tank, I seem to have the most trouble with zoanthids. Yes, that's right, zoanthids. Some of them just wither away and disappear in my tank for no apparent reason.

I got some beautiful Pink Chameleons about a week ago, three polyps. I was warned that they are glue sensitive, so I placed them in a small hole in a rock with a bit of fishing net loosely over them. Everything seemed fine, they were opening, no problem. Then, the other day, the net blew off and the palys rolled off of the rock and into my green palys. I figured, no big deal, I just put them back in the other rock. Then they started sliming like crazy, so I put the rock in a place with lower current and just left them without the net.

It's been three days, and they still haven't opened again, then haven't attached to the rock. Then, this evening, they were bumped out of the rock and into my acans (NOOOOOOOOO) which prompty began to eat them. I reached it and gently pulled the polyps off and moved them to my frag rack.

What are the chances they're going to open again? And do you have any suggestions of what I can do for them to up their chances of survival?
