Monti Cap vs. Encrusting

I got this frag of orange monti cap and discovered this purple encrusting monti frag came as a hitchhiker .
Now I am curious if one will kell/sting the other when they meet in the middle or what?
If so I can always cut off the purple before they touch.

yes, they will evenually fight for territory. like 2 gangs in the same hood.
but u may wanna give em time to adjust before fraggin the rock so it doesnt stress them out.
