wassup with my zoas?

it seems to be letting out some brown stuff out of its mouth....
anyone encounter this before?

Yes my elephant ear does this once a month..Don't know what it is but I have had it for a year.. I thought it was something polyps do to excrete waste..

ok...i feel better now....but i have never seen my zoas do that before...

also i noticed some polyps has died off....do i need to cut away the decaying tissue?.....would it effect the other polyps?

mine do it also about once a month but pinks do it alittle more often. it's poop basically
