What would be a euphyllia's reaction to too much light?
Would it still have great polyp extension, or would it shrink back?
Could it start to bleach and still have good PE?
My new frog spawn is pretty high in the tank.....the top come within 13"-14" away
from the 250w MH's, (i also have a tourch @16" & another FS @ 17" that are doing fine).
The reason I ask is.....
each day since I placed the coral in the tank, the polyps have opened a little bigger.:smile:
Up until tonight they have been an opaque skin colour, bathed in a florescent green sheen.
Tonight after walking the dog, I look into the tank and notice the tentacles
(although they are out bigger than ever),
seem a bit translucent, with a nice yellowish tone (still has a green mouth) :scratchch
It seems fine- just changing colour, should I move it?
All thoughts and opinions welcome.
