My Blue Aculeus is showing some tissue recession on one of its tips about less than a 1/4 if an inch is recessed. Is this STN, and should i frag off the piece where its recieding.

Last night, I dragged my lazy ass to do some fragging fo an acro colony that seemed to have RTN...So I pulled out the colony and was giving a lugol bath, I see bunch flatworms dropping!!!! ahhhhh AEFW! Don't know where it came from, but I had it, funny part about it is that the same acro, I gave it a bath a week ago when I saw the first symptom, no flat worms came off then, I guess the dip wasn't as strong as the one I made last night!
I'll recommend you give it a good medium/strong conc. dip!!! to figure out the cause!

Could be a host of things - could be normal growth showing white, a fish could have scraped up against it, Urchin, stn etc - without real good pics, it's tough to tell.

AEFW's typically eat from the bottom up, so, one of the symptoms is recession from the base towards the top.

Can you get us a picture to take a closer look?
