T5 and SPS...

you guys think i can grow SPS under a 8bulb TEK T5 Fixture...??

im growing SPS w/ 4 bulbs on a 65g 36"Lx18"Dx24"H

i know ming keeps sps w/ t5

it can be done, the sps may not reach it's full potential under t5 as opposed to mh.

i guess you can start w/ the lower light corals like monti caps and digitatas

u certainly can grow sps with T5s. while u may a yield a slight deeper coloring with MH, T5 can achieve a color that can be very colorful and brilliant. check out mings tank as an example.

if you go with tek get six...if you go icecap 4 is enough...

your 75g is shallower than my 65g and i am doing fine w/ 4 overdriven on an icecap.
