slouching toadstool

hey folks, just upgraded my lights and bought my first soft corals a white leather and a yellow toadstoal. both are not what they looked like when i put them a few days ago. the toadstoal in particular is slouching and not upright like it was before. the polys are open however. is this normal behavior? thanks.

Is all the tissure still intact or is it melting away??

If the polyps are extending I wouldn't worry much. Leathers can be tempermental and will close up if they don't like something only to open up better than before a few days later. Give them time and don't move them around and they should be fine, given everything else(water parameters) are acceptable.

read the other threads. sounds exactly like what's happening to me: polyps open but bent over. I feel a little better now and will keep a vigalent eye. as always, very helpful - cheers

I would'nt be too concerned with this, one of my Toadstools took almost a week to straighten up when I first got it. As long as all the tissue looks good, it should be fine.
