mushroom trouble

mushrrom came off lr and i cant get him to attach because of movement in current what do i do

They are probably trying to create a new colony. Put the 'shrooms on a rock and cover them with a net. They will reattach in a few days.

i had some do that also so i put a rock up out of the curent and set it in a little crevis and it took hold in a day, now it has turned into 3

burn those shrooms!!! i hate mine for taking up prime real estate and stinging my other corals:irked:

lol but if you insist on keeping them, the net method will work even if its a large shroom. I used to jam the loose shrooms into a hole in the rock and they'll attach (teaches me right to jam them into the good spots:letitallo )

wrap it once, maybe twice with some cheesecloth

wait a few days

unwrap

(ps...you mite want to wear rubber gloves in case of stinging critters in da rock)
