Removing Green star polyps from LR

A few months ago Will gave me a free frag of GSP about 1/3 of an inch and now its grown to nearly 5". Id rather it not take over the rock its on being that I have a torch and a tulip/teacup? anemone in a nice spot.

My question is how or can I even get it off the rock to move it to another one?

If the rock is fairly smooth, take a knife and lift an edge of it and it carefully peel it off. If you are'nt removing the whole mat, cut it with a sharp razor and then peel it off.

Yea ill be removing the whole piece, how long does it usually take for it to re-attach to another rock?

Dry the botom of the mat and the rock, glue it down in a few spots with CA gel and your ready to go. It will take a few days for it to open back up, but once it does, it will grow quickly and attach on its own with the new growth in a matter of a week or so, depending on how fast it grows.
